For Mother's Day Jett, Elliott, and Graeden all made Mother's Day cards. As I was transposing what Graeden wanted to say on his (which were the lyrics to the "Mother I Love You, Mother I do..." song) I noticed that Elliott, who turned three in March, was writing his favorite word on his card. I'm sure he meant it as a term of endearment :o)
Bridget didn't seem to be offended at all so that was good.
This morning the boys helped me make French toast by watching T.V. (i.e. staying out from under my legs while I did the cooking). During sacrament the primary went up and sang a few songs (one of which was "Mother I Love You"). Elliott, still in nursery, saw his brother go up so he decided he should too. During the singing Elliott and Graeden went to the back, behind the primary kids, and played on the big chairs that automatically fold up when nobody is sitting on them (like at movie theaters). It was pretty cute.
Bridget's favorite presents were being able to sleep in and the nap she got after church. I enjoyed trying my hand at cooking all three meals of the day, which is about three times more cooking than I normally do in a year...or does making popcorn count?

Too funny! Glad you and the boys took good care of Bridget on Mother's Day. I especially like the card from Elliott!
Sounds like fun... sounds like you and Bridget enjoyed you playing Mr. Mom, at least for a day.
Sounds like you guys had a great day - and who doesn't love a delightfully colored "poo" card? That is classic.
