This was my final week as a free man. Tomorrow I start my new job. I am really looking forward to it, but am also a bit sad that I will lose all of the free time that I've enjoyed over the last couple of years.
Last Thursday was Thanksgiving. We had dinner/lunch at Bridget's parent's house and then went to Tamara & Robert's house to visit. It is always fun to see the family. The next day, Friday, Cheryl Sulzen came down with her family so we went to Tamara's house again and had dinner with all of them. It was a lot of family. Yesterday, Saturday, Bridget & I went to the temple with Cheryl and Dan. It's been a couple months so it was good to get back.
Saturday morning, while Bridget & I were still in bed sleeping, Jett walked into our room crying/whining. Then, when he got close to Bridget's side of the bed, he said "George" as clear as day. It was really funny because he has never said anything besides sounds like mamamama or nananana. I'm pretty sure he was referring to the Curious George cartoon that he watches with his brothers most weekday mornings. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to watch it because it was Saturday, and therefore, not on.
Last week Bridget & I put a bid on the house in Monroe. The seller didn't budge on his price at all. He wasn't willing to come down in price even though the market is extremely slow right now. We still want the house and are going to try to make another bid closer to what he is asking within the next week or so.
