November 10, 2007

Last week I was offered a position at Panasonic Avionics as a Business Analyst II. I, of course, accepted and am very excited to start working there on the Monday following Thanksgiving. It should be really fun, though I don't know a whole lot about what the job entails. My brother Shad also works there (which is probably a major reason I got the interview for the job at all) so that will be a lot of fun.

Today we looked at houses in Monroe. I'm not a huge fan of Monroe, but one of the six or so houses that we looked at was amazing. Maybe a little bit more expensive than I'd like, but it's the first house I've been excited about for a very long time. Plus, if we sell the house we're in and another house that Bridget has we could pay a deposit of over 45%. I'd like to get established a little bit at work before making such a permanent decision, but I also don't want to lose out on the opportunity to own a house this great. Hopefully the market is slow enough right now that it won't be sold anytime soon.

This evening we went to a talent show and Naiah was breaking boards for her talent. To show how hard it is she picked me from the audience to demonstrate...assuming that I wouldn't be able to break it. She gave me one after another, each one getting harder, and I broke them all, spoiling her show. I kinda felt bad that she wasn't able to show off her new skills, but she took it well I think.

Since I didn't post anything on the day we celebrated Graeden's birthday I'll post a video I made of his party here:

Congrats on the new Job.
I started working for PAC 6 weeks ago and am very happy.
All the people I've met so far have been super nice.

Good Luck
