October 15, 2007

General conference was on the 6th and 7th of this month. Elder Eyring was confirmed as the second councellor to the prophet which was pretty exciting since I really like him a lot. He gave a talk during one of the sessions about how the spiritual experiences he had throughout his life were not just for him, but also for his posterity. When he was inspired by this notion he began to write in his journal everyday thereafter. He talked about how writing the things that happened during the day brought to his mind ways in which he was being blessed by the Lord. Since then I thought, instead of writing my blog in the morning, I should write it before I go to bed so that I can better reflect on my daily experiences. As you can see, it has taken me a week to pick up on that idea. Hopefully I'll get a bit more accustomed to it and start writing more regularly.
