My first blog post! I've heard that there are more blogs than there are people that read them so it's probably pretty safe to say that nobody outside my family will ever see this, unless of course I invite others to read it...and, for lack of anything better to do, they actually come to read it. I guess I just want to get things down as I think of them and to keep a bit of a journal of my personal and family life. Since having kids I have been pretty bad at keeping any kind of journal. Every now and then I type something or save an e-mail. Occasionally I'll make a video of one or two of the four kids (see http://youtube.com/profile?user=Zalekin) but I figure they will soon want to know a bit more about their lives growing up. And, as everybody keeps telling me, they'll grow up so fast, so I guess this is my little way of perserving some of our lives and memories. I'm sure most of my entries will be a bit boring, but I'll try to add pics and tell stories to spice things up a bit. If you do find yourself reading this feel free to leave comments. Enjoy!
